AI Funding and Workflow Fit Checker
Funding makes AI adoption easier, but business value comes from choosing the right workflow first. Answer seven questions and get a workflow fit score out of ten, a short list of Canadian funding paths to investigate, and the things to watch before you commit. This is a starting point, not an eligibility result.
Most Canadian businesses do not fail at AI because of money. They fail because they fund the wrong first workflow. This checker scores a workflow on the five things that decide whether it is a smart first bet, then routes you to the funding programs worth looking into for your situation. It collects no personal data, and every part of the score is shown so you can see exactly how the result was reached. For the full picture behind the scoring, read the AI adoption funding guide.

Common questions
Does the AI Funding and Workflow Fit Checker tell me if I qualify for funding?
No. It does not determine eligibility and it does not guarantee funding, rates, tax credits, compliance, or ROI. It scores how strong a workflow is as a first AI bet and points you to funding paths to investigate. Confirm every program with its owner.
What does the workflow fit score measure?
It scores five things from zero to two each, for a total out of ten: cost or revenue pain, repeatability, measurability, data readiness, and risk containment. Eight to ten is a strong first-workflow candidate, five to seven needs scoping before funding, and zero to four is a weak or high-risk first move.
Which Canadian AI funding programs does it cover?
It points to BDC LIFT for internal AI adoption at scale, regional programs and Regional Development Agencies, NRC IRAP AI Assist and SR&ED for building AI products, and notes that CDAP Boost Your Business Technology has ended. Availability and terms vary and must be confirmed with each program.
Do I have to enter personal or financial details?
No. The checker asks only about revenue range, region, business type, project type, workflow pain, data readiness, and risk level. It collects no personal data and stores nothing.
