X Open Source Algorithm Skill
Score and optimize X/Twitter posts using the actual open source algorithm. Built from xai-org/x-algorithm (January 2026).
What This Skill Does
Phoenix Scoring Model
19 engagement signal predictions: P(favorite), P(reply), P(repost), P(quote), P(dwell_time), P(follow_author), P(profile_click), P(share_via_dm), and 11 more. Weighted scoring formula from the actual codebase.
Content Format Ranking
Data-backed format hierarchy: X Articles, video threads, image threads, text threads, single posts. Engagement rates and algorithm boosts for each format.
Negative Signal Detection
The algorithm predicts P(not_interested), P(block_author), P(mute_author), and P(report) for every post. The skill checks your draft against patterns that trigger suppression.
Author Diversity Scorer
The algorithm applies exponential decay to same-author posts in the feed. The skill tells you how to space posts and optimize for the 30-minute velocity window.
Installation
1. Download the .zip file below
2. Unzip it
3. Drag the folder into Claude: Desktop app, VS Code, Cursor, or Terminal
4. Tell Claude: "Install this skill"
10x reach advantage with X Premium. Replies with author response score +75 points. Threads get 3x engagement vs single tweets.

Using the Skill
# Invoke the skill:
/x-open-source-algorithm-skill
# Then ask Claude anything:
"Score this tweet draft"
"Optimize this thread for the algorithm"
"What format should I use for this topic?"
