We could not settle whether Nevada is one-party or all-party for calls, because the statute's text does not decide it and the case said to settle it was not read. We found no law that requires telling a caller they are speaking with an AI.

This is a guide for clinic owners, not legal advice. Every line points to the law or the regulator's own page, checked on 2026-10-21. Where we could not confirm something, the page says so.
NRS 200.620(1) makes it unlawful to intercept a wire communication unless the interception is made with the prior consent of one of the parties and an emergency situation exists and it is impractical to obtain a court order. The two conditions are joined by the word and, so the text alone does not settle one party versus all party. Secondary sources say the Nevada Supreme Court's Lane v. Allstate (1998) read it as all party, but we did not retrieve that opinion. We state no rule.
We found no Nevada law that requires telling a caller they are speaking with an AI. Nevada AB 406 (2025) prohibits an AI provider from offering an AI system specifically programmed to provide a service that would be the practice of professional mental or behavioral health care if provided by a natural person. It concerns mental health only.
Nevada's consumer health data law does not apply to any person or entity subject to HIPAA and its regulations. Consumer health data there includes any health condition or status, disease or diagnosis, and biometric data tied to it. A HIPAA covered clinic is outside the chapter. HIPAA still binds a covered clinic and its business associate vendor.
We could not read Nevada's telemarketing law. The only lead was a law firm's list citing NRS 597.812, and we could not retrieve the official text, so we state no rule. The federal rules on AI-voice calls and texts apply as well.
We found no statement from the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners on AI agents. The search returned only an advisory opinions page and a 2020 teledentistry draft. Our check was a web search, not a search of the board's own site, so this is not proof of absence.
We found no statement from the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners on AI agents. Our check was a web search, not a search of the board's own site, so this is not proof of absence.
The federal rule applies here; nothing specific to this place was found.
The ADA requires a public accommodation to provide effective real-time communication, including text telephones and FCC-approved relay systems. A clinic phone line answered by an AI agent must still work for a relay caller.
Aida opens every call with the recording notice your province or state needs, and says it is the practice's AI agent wherever you want it to. Request a demo with your clinic's rules in mind.
